Hey White Sox: P.R. Stands For Play Right!

The Chicago White Sox are suddenly the nicest guys in baseball.

They praise everybody, from the division rival Minnesota Twins to Derrek Lee, the recently injured player from that obscure North Side team.

What’s going on?

I suspect these World Champs went to Charm School sometime after they took all the marbles.

Now, to seem less imposing to their foes, they’re speaking well of everybody.

Even Sox Manager Ozzie Guillen, never one to squelch his emotions or vanquish his vitriol, is sweet as honey.

As a fan, I feel I’m on the “Poseidon,” where everything’s upside down.

The only thing the Sox need to do is win ballgames, and they’ll win the hearts of fans. Whoever sold them this public relations preening program is weakening them, shifting their focus from where it should be, which is what they do on the field.

Fess up!

If Derrick Lee is sidelined for three or four months with a broken wrist, the Sox have an advantage. He’s one less threat they’ll face when they meet their cross-town rivals.

And why throw verbal bouquets to the Twins, unless it’s to distract them, or to deflate them through praise, so they’ll play less ardently.

But that’s improbable.

The only thing P.R. should stand for in the White Sox dictionary is “Play Right.”

Everything else will take care of itself.

Generating More Traffic to Your Website

Are you looking for an effective way to generate more leads or traffic into your online business or affiliate programs? Now you can easily generate more leads and sales by using these techniques.

The challenge of any online business is to generate leads which in turn will lead to sales. In order to do this you need to have an effective system to attract visitors to your website. The more traffic you get, the more customers you will have, and ultimately your sales will increase. There are many ways you can generate leads and traffic to your business. The ones described below are the most effective in generating leads:

  • Create a content based website

  • Collect visitors contact information

  • Offer a free report or ebook

  • Create an opt-in newsletter

  • Write specialised articles

Create a content based website

Create in-demand content, where each page focuses on a single topic related to that theme. Each page should be a ‘Keyword Focused Content Page’. The goal or purpose of creating such a website is to drive targeted traffic to your pages which will generate commissions if you’re an affiliate, or generate more product / service sales. Search engines such as Google favour content based websites so make sure your website contains valuable content. Keep adding content to your website which will boost your overall rankings. Ultimately the focus of your website should be on offering useful information which ‘presells’ the potential customer.

Collect visitors contact information

Have a system to collect the email address of every person who visits your web site and is interested in finding a solution to a problem. As mentioned you will need to have already created a content based site which offers valuable information on a particular subject. Most people search online for information or solutions so this is why content is king. If you give people what they want they will beat a path to your door and subscribe to your newsletter or purchase something off your website.

Place a subscription box in a prominent place on your site. Offer an enticement in return for their email addresses. This should help you capture the email addresses of 10-20% of the people who visit your site each week. People are aware that when they give you their email address they expect to be sent emails with advertisements. So you need to offer some high value enticement UP FRONT to get them to opt-in.

Offer a free report or ebook

One of the most frequently used search terms online contains the word FREE in it! Everybody loves to receive something for nothing. But make sure that what you do offer is something they cannot get elsewhere. This can be done by either creating a ‘Special Report’ which is unavailable elsewhere or offering an existing product that is tailored to your visitors. For example you might offer business owners a free report or ebook which tells them how to create more traffic to their website. It also important to let them know the value of the ‘free gift’, for example ‘FREE Report – $47 Value’

Create an opt-in newsletter

One of the most effective ways of generating leads for your business is by offering a free subscription to your newsletter. As with the free report or ebook, it is important when writing a newsletter that you write about something that is relevant to your subscribers.

Everybody has something that they can write about. What most people lack is the time to write. Even if you publish a monthly newsletter, people will want to sign up if they feel that the information has a high perceived value to them. Your opt-in list is like a goose that lays the golden eggs. It is estimated that each subscriber to your newsletter is worth a least $1 per month to your business.

Write specialised articles

You do not necessarily need to be an expert in your chosen field. What is most important is that you are PASSIONATE about what you are writing about and that you have unique or specialised information which is unavailable elsewhere. After you have done this submit your articles to article submission sites and make sure to include a resource box at the end which will direct people back to your website.

Employ these lead generating strategies and you will notice a significant increase in website traffic and an increase in the leads generated. But don’t stop there! Remember, you need to follow up with these leads and turn them into paying customers which is why preselling is an important factor.

Broadband Internet by Satellite and Bad Weather Issues

One of the greatest inventions in Broadband Internet has to be the incredible service offered by Broadband Internet Satellite company Direct PC, which is part of the Direct TV Hughes Network. This allows you to get your Internet service via satellite. It is very high-speed although there is a half-second delay from the satellite for uploading which you need to get use to although it seems as fast as the fastest DCL line I have ever used.

The only draw back is in severe storms or rain clouds you can often lose the signal, however with any electronics it is not always too awfully wise to be using lots of electrical stuff during thunder and lightning storms you know? Last year I fried my modem trying to stay online during one of those superstorm thunder cells? Dah, we have all seen enough storm stories to figure out that is a losing proposition indeed.

However besides that one little problem of the Bad Weather Issues, I must say the service is good and the speed kicks everyone’s butt and well I am a happy camper with mine. Although I do not always use it having several other options, it is my first choice for Broadband Internet Service and it makes so much sense for so many reasons. Maybe you might like this in 2006?

New York Knicks Gambling Articles: Early 2006 Season Analysis

Controversy abound when Larry Brown left the Pistons for the New York Knicks. The Knicks and their high salaries were the perfect challenge for Brown, and sure enough it hasn’t been easy. Brown is so adamant about not playing rookies that he hardly played 1st round draft-pick Darko Milicic while he was in Detroit. In New York, he doesn’t have much of a choice: it’s either inexperienced rookies or overpaid veterans.

Some of their rookies have been playing great. Channing Frye has come out of nowhere to emerge as the Rookie of the Year favorite. Frye’s game basic: shooting from the outside and collapsing to the glass. But he does it so well and prolifically that he has been the best big-man for the Knicks so far. Nate Robinson isn’t a good defender but is pretty speedy to the basket. A very impressive stat is that New York only takes only 8.7 3-pters a game, impressive because it’s sometimes hard to control all those rookies.

Other moves have been a failure thus far. Jerome James has done pretty much nothing aside from growing out since he’s been in New York. Quentin Richardson’s sole purpose it to hit 3’s, but with the Knicks shying away from the outside shots, Richardson has been completely worthless. And while Nate Robinson and Jamal Crawford are good scorers, they’ve done a horrid job handling the basketball with an NBA high 17.5 turnovers a game.

There have been rumors that the Knicks are in talks with Minnesota for Kevin Garnett. That would be the only possible move to warrant Isaiah Thomas keeping his job. As Elgin Baylor has showed us, great basketball players don’t make great executives. Thomas is carrying on Scott Layden’s legacy of bad moves. At Center, getting Jerome James for 6 yrs $36 million was one thing. But then he pursued Eddy Curry, and got him for $60 million, and now James is coming off the bench. Why draft Nate Robinson when you already have Jamal Crawford? So much money goes to Richardson as well. Not enough faith has been placed in the Knick youngsters.

New York has a ton of players to cover the five positions. Whether they are the right five is another tale. The Atlantic Division that is currently tied with the Nets and Sixers is wide open. The Knicks can make a move if they improve several things. Turnovers commited can be squelched if Marbury and Crawford aren’t allowed to go off on their own all the time. Next year should be better for them. As to this one, it’s unlikely. New York needs to win 25 at home to even have a shot.

Baseball’s First-Month Awards

The calendar has turned on the first month of the 2006 baseball season. While there is plenty of season left, it’s a good time to evaluate who has the early lead on baseball’s top awards.

American League MVP:

1) Jim Thome – While he has slowed somewhat since his sizzling start, Jim Thome has been the best acquisition any American League team has made. Many questioned what he had left, but he put any doubts to rest immediately by homering in his first 2 games and 6 times in his first 10 games. His 10 homeruns and 24 RBIs are tops on the American League’s most talented team.

2) Jason Giambi – His .542 OBP is fantastic as Giambi continues to expand on last year’s comeback- player-of-the-year performance. While he leads the AL in walks with 27, Giambi is not just being passive, as he also leads the AL in RBIs with 27. Only his statuesque defense and stubbornness about embracing the DH role make him second choice.

3) Vernon Wells – The Blue Jays went on baseball’s biggest shopping spree, this off-season, but one of their incumbent players has turned in his best effort so far. With 9 homers, 25 RBIs and a .374 batting average, Wells is carrying a heavy load as Toronto tries to prove that they can keep pace with the Red Sox and The Yankees.

National League MVP:

1) Albert Pujols – Provided he stays healthy, it appears as though this award will be his to lose for many years to come. His record-breaking 14 homeruns in April and 32 RBIs have led the Cardinals to another great start.

2) Lance Berkman – The reason for the Astros’ slow start, last April, was likely because they missed Berkman’s bat. Berkman has had a fast start, this year (10 homeruns, 31 RBIs and .240 BA), and so have the Astros.

3) Carlos Delgado – The best acquisition any National League team made, this off-season, Delgado has really carried the load (10 homeruns and 21 RBIs) while Beltran was injured and Cliff Floyd slumped.

American League Cy Young:

1) Jose Contreras – His 4-0 record and league-leading 1.45 ERA still leads a pitching staff that makes the White Sox the best bet to win the AL Pennant at the sports book.

2) Curt Schilling – Baseball’s biggest loudmouth is once again able to “walk the walk.” His 4-1 record, 2.88 ERA and durability (40.2 IP) have led the Red Sox to an early tenuous hold on first place in the AL East.

3) Kenny Rogers – The ace on a staff of promising young guns, veteran Rogers has done everything you can ask for the Tigers (4-2, 2.59 ERA and a great 0.98 WHIP).

National League Cy Young:

1) Greg Maddux – Talk about giving a club a lift. Once again frustrated by injuries to Mark Prior and Kerry Wood, the cursed Cubbies are thrilled by Maddux’s early renaissance (5-0, 1.35 ERA).

2) Pedro Martinez – The daily updates by a panicked New York press corps on Pedro’s toe during spring training are long forgotten as Pedro has been fantastic (5-0, 0.89 WHIP). He already has beaten the hated Braves twice.

3) Bronson Arroyo – Wow, after the AL East, this is sure easy. Arroyo (5-0, 2.06 ERA) has led the way for baseball’s biggest early season surprise.

Rookies of the Year:

American League:

Jonathan Papelbon – Thrown into the Boston pressure-cooker, Papelbon leads the AL in saves (10) and has yet to allow a run in over 15 innings.

National League:

Prince Fielder – Unlike his father, Cecil, Prince didn’t need to serve some time in the Japanese League to find his stroke. Fielder’s .343 average leads all rookies.

Mont Blanc Augments in Size since 2000 as Announced by Scientists

Recent elaborate GPS measurements made on the 13-14th August have depicted that Mont Blanc measures 4810.3 m. Mont Blanc is smothered by a thick icecap which has grown bigger by 2.15 metres in precisely two yrs but more suprisingly the amount of the ice has almost grown twofold . Least ways that is as reported by the professionals.

The volume of ice and snow was calculated for the first time in 2002. It was measured at 14300 meters cubed higher up than 4750 metres. It comprised only 13500 metres cubed in 2002 possibly ascribable to the high temperatures with plus temp even at 4950 m height. Notwithstanding the ice-cap has just about doubled since then and nowadays equals 21000 meters cubed.

Chamonix’s reputable local weather forecaster Ellis Allen stated the increment in the mass of the ice cap is among the contrary consequences of climate change: The amount of snow has not increased overall in the Alps simply with global warming we’re having more hotter westerly air currents that bring in rain lower down but during summertime this means heavy snowfall that rests higher up than 3800 m height hence the volume of the icecap is expanding. Contrast this to the state of affairs during wintertime where snow crystals are exceedingly cold and are carried by air currents so don’t rest on the crest.

Chamonix is not just infamous for Mount Blanc it is also a world renowned snowboarding field and alpinism center with lot’s of ski deals and chalet bargains to be had.

Reflex speed for Tennis, Martial arts, & basketball

Cat Like Reflex Training Methods by Mark Sias, bionicplyometrics.com

It can go with out saying that whatever your sport, improved reaction time & response time a.k.a. reflex speed will be vital. Any & even the slightest improvements in this skill can have astonishing results on your game. Think about it for a moment… even if you could shoot, move, and jump like MJ you’d still be at his mercy if you didn’t have his eyes. Meaning react unexpectedly, see defenders before they move, & beat the head fakes. Again this carries over to most every sport imaginable. Take the boxer, his whole game, the entire fight is react as fast as possible before your opponent does & don’t get faked out!

Before we get started I want to clarify a couple things. There are 3 phases of speed. 1) Reaction time: This is the perception of an attack, or rather the interval between stimulus and the beginning of response. 2) Response time: This is the time it takes to choose an appropriate response to the initiation of the actual movement. 3) And finally, movement-speed. Quite simply how quick your counter punch is or how fast your body moves getting out of the way of trouble, etc. You will notice some of these examples seem geared more towards martial artist and there methods of training but not to worry you’ll also see how the can be adapted to any sport.

Reaction & Recognition Woods Running: I can’t think of an easier drill to start doing that requires no training partners or equipment for enhancing coordination & reflex speed. All that is needed is a little bit of nature, so go to a local park with a batch of thick untamed woods, shrubs, ditches, canals and other natural obstacles. What makes this a Grand exercise is that you have to react with your body in very unpredictable ways, uneven footing, while making cuts, ducks, jumps, bobs, & shuffling of the feet. The key to a successful session is RUN FAST! Yes the faster you run the harder adapting will be. Interestingly enough your mind will be so preoccupied with this live video game that you won’t even notice how winded your getting! You can make this drill harder in a couple simple ways. 1) Try putting on an eye patch. This creates a major deficit in depth perception. 2) Try this wearing sunglasses, giving you less distance vision in a shady wooded area. 3) Simply add ankle weights, that will throw off your innate sense of timing.

Dodge Ball: “If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball”-Patches O’Houlihan. And if you can dodge a dodgeball the way I’m going to challenge you to, you’ll evade anything that’s slower than a bullet! So to start you need a partner to be a thrower. You can switch up to make it fun & interesting for both of you. Begin at about 10′ apart and use a soft rubber or foam ball. Start slow, then as you get better have the pitcher increase his velocity & get closer. Here’s a short list of some variables you should use to continually make dodgeball more challenging & fun. 1) Use multiple throwers. 2) Start with eyes closed and have the pitcher cue you before he throws. 3) Thrower can disguise his toss with “feints”. 4) Color code balls: Red ball = catch, blue = dodge, green = strike. These force you to recognize as well as react.

Solo Wall Bounce: Stand in front of a wall with any kind of ball that bounces. Throw and catch. Make this more difficult by: increasing your velocity, standing closer to the wall, progressing to smaller balls, switching catch/throw hands, and starting facing away from the wall, throwing the ball over your shoulder then turning around at the sound of it hitting the wall. Jump USA sells a “reaction” ball that looks like an odd, uneven bouncing ball that can go in any given direction. These sell for about $10. Pick one up after you’ve mastered my previous methods of bouncing!

Response Times Once you’ve learned how to appropriately identify stimulus and speed up the recognition, or need to do something, the next phase of training deals with programming your nervous system with a proper response. This will just as easily improve your overall speed. If you see things even before they happen what good is it if your body clumsily tries to move? You need to have a storehouse of nervous “memory” responses that are quick, smooth, & graceful.

Balloon Kicks: This exercise is mostly a coordination builder but it is so fun I had to throw it in. It will improve timing, accuracy and responsiveness quickly without seeming tedious at all. Blow up a balloon and go into a room that has numerous natural obstacles like chairs, stools, counters, & coffee tables. If you’re so inclined, get some cones and small objects to clutter the floor. Now, start kicking the balloon with the purpose of not letting it touch the floor. Kick, kick, kick! If It drops you lose. Time your self to see how long you can last each session.

Side Shuffles: Here one your football & basketball coaches wish they knew. If you have access to a treadmill you will make agility leaps & bounds. You are certainly going to look ridiculous doing this but that’s ok, my theory is the more embarrassing your training is the better it works! Hey I was training with jumpsoles back when they first hit the scene, before they were the commodity everyone knows them as. Now picture this skinny 17 year old Florida boy sprinting up and down blacktops in Giant horseshoe like strap-ons. Yeah I got funny looks! So will you. Anyway what you need to do is crank that machine up to 5mph to start and gallop if you will, sideways trying to gradually increase the speed to your limit. Switch sides. Next slow it back down to 5mph and try cross-stepping front & back. See what your threshold is in terms of mph. Your objective is a slight increase each session. Final set is backpedaling. Better start slower than the 5, this ones harder. The treadmill is necessary because if forces a pace. Next time some ball hog tries to take you on a dribble he’ll have another thing coming!

Visual Speed & Acuity Video Games: This is a perfect way to enhance response action, and visual perception all while having fun! You don’t need to go out and purchase a $200 X-box, a simple Gameboy to carry around for the next time your waiting to renew your plates or visit the dentist s fine. Stay away from the Mrs. Pac-man that you’ve mastered ages ago. Try something new & challenging, change-up every other time you play to keep it unpredictable! I recommend 2 days a week for 30 minutes a little video gaming. It’s training!

Peripheral Driver: Not much need to go into the importance of side vision awareness & expansion, its usefulness carries over to every sports activity imaginable. You need to know if a potential defender or tackle is just out of your sight coming up the sides of your vision. Here is a great way to develop your P.V. while driving. Next time you’re on the road try to be consciously aware when you catch a glimpse of a vehicle in the corner of your eye. Call out the color or make if you can. Gradually you’ll be noticing them much sooner. The real trick is jut remembering to practice it when you get in the car so my suggestion is to write it on the rear view with dry erase.

Eye Accommodation: Or rather the ability for you eyes to quickly adjust from focusing on objects close to far. Rapid adjustments in depth perception, is a skill that can be developed quickly & easily. This will play a key role in how well you can respond. If a fist is flying at your face you need to be able to zoom in before you can gauge an appropriate counter move. Try these 2 simple drills once daily. Hold a pen out at arms length, now look across the room about 20 ft away. Shift your focus from a far object, then back to the pen several times quickly. Rest and repeat, changing the proximity of the pen (closer to your face) every couple of sets. This is known as shifting. The next drill is called figure 8’s. Hold your thumb up at arms length & begin moving it in yes, figure 8’s. While you’re doing this also bring your thumb closer & further from the face a well as vary the speed at which your thumb moves every 10 seconds.

There I scratched (meowch!) the surface of what can be done to start your transformation from slow to whoa! Let me close by saying a lot has to do with what your tying your brain up with at the moment. So put all those pesky thoughts away during your next game, & just BE THERE! Absorb yourself in your tactile senses just like a feline would! There’s way more secrets i’ll reveal another time like better drills, brain sharpeners, simple tricks to play, drills you can do while watching TV, and even supplements that can improve your reflex speed immediately! In the mean time give these examples a try a couple days a week & in as little as 2 weeks you will be quite impressed with the progress!

No one Really Makes Money Online

People think that its easy to make money from the Internet. While the cost of setting up a company has gotten cheaper on the average compared to the Industrial Age overhead. You also have more people with the same idea to compete with now. So in exchange for less capital, you get more competition. If its not one thing its the other.

There is a theory why not everybody, a large majority of online businesses fail to make money online: The Pareto Principle.

Simply stated. The Pareto Principle posits that there is an imbalance in the way wealth flows. A significant minority of a certain group will always get a larger share than the rest of the majority in terms of certain desirables like profit, market share, customer satisfaction, etc.

Most people tend to assume that all things are in equilibrium in one way or another. It was assumed that 100 units of input usually and logically gives you simply 100 units of output as well. But this is not the case. This fallacy is so prevalent most people take it at face value.

The Truth is that 100 units of input can actually give you back 0 to more than 100 units of output. If in actuality, you take a look at reality, when the causes and effects of a phenomenon are analyzed, more often than not it will show an imbalanced result.

We use the numbers 80/20 to show the disparity in general, but the results arent usually along this ratio. There is usually no 50/50 balance but more often an 80/20, 70/30, or even a 99/1 ratio. Therefore, when we have grasped at the true critical relationships of a phenomena, then the natural state of things is most likely to be significantly imbalanced.

So what does this have to do with making money online? Very elementary, Dear Watson. The Pareto Principle also applies in force to the Internet. Why are most businesses not making much money online? It is because a businesss presence is not optimized to its strengths, giving Murphys Law a big field day.

To be more specific, here are the reasons why:

1. Great wealth flows to the most optimized. Businesses that have spent the time to capitalize on their strengths and protect their weaknesses will have the advantage in attracting more business. This is because most people online who want to purchase a service or a product prefer that it can be reliable as well as trustworthy with the money they spend.

Businesses that have determined their target market and spent the time aggressively wooing these customers get the most revenue. Take note that even a slight advantage is highly valued by customers.

2. Concentration on a strength that matter to the customer. Markets are fickle. And online businesses that take the time to identify their target markets needs and wants will always get the customers favor and money.

Another benefit on making the effort to communicate with the customer is the surgical and precise allocation of capital to support and enhance a feature customers value. Businesses like these are never flying blind.

3. Businesses that react or initiate actions to positive or negative customer feedback the fastest gets the businesses. Companies that address a customers feedback for better service and sustains it while making a profit, gets more customers to be loyal to the business.

Since customers mostly do not want to start searching for a better business unless they see the advantage from a competitor or worse, forced by incompetent service from their current provider, it would logically be better for a business to just make significant adjustments to keep customers than lose them to competitors.

Most online businesses do not see the potential dangers of ignoring feedback from customers and not taking action to rectify their concerns in the most effective way possible. The next point explains this.

4. Small factors exponentially affect huge outputs. Imagine a herd of zebra in an African plain. When one zebra spots a lion nearby, it alerts the rest of the herd, and they run for safety.

Same goes with the money from customers. If at a crucial moment negative feedback from customers hit critical mass, customers will start moving to the nearest seemingly competent competitor for safety. Customers follow safety in numbers.

This is also the same for making profits. Customers who found gold in a company in terms of product or service will try to get everybody else on the bandwagon, creating a vortex of spending that concentrates on the lucky company. Sales will be exponential as long as it can sustain the phenomena that customers are crazy about.

Speed Kills Your Golf Swing

Would you say you have a fast looking swing or a slow swing? (If you don’t have a fast swing show this article to a playing partner who does). You would think that a recreational golfer’s fast swing would hit a golf ball a long way wouldn’t you? After all, it looks fast! Yet the ball doesn’t go as far as a slow swinging pro’s ball. I wonder why…

If you think about your body for a minute, you know that it moves much slower than your arms in real life. So if your body can’t turn all that fast, how do you get a fast looking golf swing? You get a fast looking golf swing when you try to hit the ball as hard as you can with just your arms. This means that your arms are moving independently from your body.

This fast looking swing can be understood by imagining a clock. If you look at a clock, you will see that the little post in the middle tells the minute hand how fast to swing. If the little post moves slowly, the minute hand moves slowly. If the little post moves faster, the arms move faster. The center post and the minute hand are relative to one another. If you compare your golf swing to the movement of a clock you will see your body as the center post on the clock and your arms as the minute hand. Having a fast looking swing would be like the little center post of the clock turning slowly yet the minute hand is moving very fast. This, of course, would never happen because they are connected to one another.

What happens to your shots when your arms outpace your body?

First, won’t make solid contact with the sweet spot on the clubface because swinging with your arms alone will cause you to manipulate the clubface as it swings through impact.

Secondly, the harder you swing, the tighter your wrists and arms will be through impact. Tighter wrists release slower than looser wrists and looser arms extend more than tighter arms (which increase the width of your swing arc).

To slow down a fast looking golf swing, we first have to think logically about it. Pros have a slow looking swing and they hit the ball a long way and you have a fast swing that hits the ball shorter. So why do you insist on hitting the ball harder than the pros do?Unfortunately, human nature usually takes control of us when we go to hit a golf ball. It says that the harder you swing the further the ball will go. This does not allow us to see the logic behind swinging slower. Swinging slower feels like you have less power so you cannot see how you can actually hit the ball better and farther by not using your arms. You must convince yourself that you must swing slower to hit the ball better. Once you slow down, you will make better contact in the middle of the clubface, widen your arc and release the club faster. All of these things add up to more distance with less effort.

I like my students to try this drill in order to take the arms out of their swing. All you have to do is hold the club at about waist high and feel your body swing the clubhead. Remember the clock. If the post turns faster the arms swing faster. As you swing, listen to the swishing sound the clubhead is making as it swings through impact. Now, try to make the club swing faster by shifting your body weight from the right leg to the left leg allowing your body to turn at the same time. If you let your arms swing freely you will hear the club swish faster as you increase the speed of your body.

As you go to hit the actual golf ball, you must relate the same new feeling of using your body to hit your shot. This means that you cannot think of hitting the ball. If you think about hitting the ball, it will speed up your arms up again. You have to now think about turning and shifting your body weight. This will turn your body and allow your arms to swing down because they are connected to one another. If you feel your swing getting fast again just step back, hold the club off the ground and do some more practice swings feeling your body making the club swing. It takes some practice and concentration but once you slow your swing down you will not only gain a feeling of effortless power but you will start to look like a pro when you swing.

Until next time,
