How To Make Your Website More Successful? (Part I)

Building a website and getting it online is easy. Driving visitors to it is the more difficult part. Most people are not patient enough when it comes to build up traffic. They expect thousands of visitors a week after they go live with their website. But that is not how it works. We share some secrets of how to make your website more successful.

A) Provide content: Search engines love content. As more content you can provide as better off you are. Don’t put all the content on one page. Build many pages with content. The reason for this is that every page gets spidered separately by Google and other search engines. Each page of yours in their index is an additional chance that your link gets mentioned in somebody else search results. Quality content is more valuable to search engines as they want to provide real information to visitors. Search engines do not want to refer to link farms or redirects. If they can refer a customer directly to the most valuable content the better for the search engine. Search engines live of providing good results.

B) Domain Name: Do not use a domain name like www.freewebpages.com/~yourname – search engines don’t like those. It also prevents you from building a brand name (your ultimate goal should be building a brand). Spend the $9.00 per year for your own domain name. It’s money spend well worth.

C) Your website design: The simpler the better. Here is a rule of thumb: text content should outweigh the html content. The pages should be W3 validated and work in Internet Explorer as well as Mozilla’s Firefox. If you go too fancy with stuff some search engine spiders might not be able to read your pages. Look at Google, eBay or Yahoo themselves – simple design, easy to navigate and people are flocking to it. If you use sub-directories the directory names should be descriptive (i.e. “steel-products” or “paper-clips”). The same is true for you pages. If you are able to give pages a descriptive name as better you are off in the long run.

Website performance is critical. If your pages load too slow you will punished. Make sure the website sits on a fast web server and that the page sizes are 20K or less. If you can keep page sizes to 15K or less you are ahead of the curve.

D) Build one content page per day or at least 3-4 per week. You may think you do not have that many products. But establish yourself as a source of product or industry related information. If customers can learn from the content you provide they respect you and your business and this will lead them to use your services and products, too. Pages with 300-600 words should be more than sufficient.

E) Keywords: Make sure you use important keywords in the title of each topic and through-out the text without looking like a SPAMMER (meaning: do not go overboard using the keywords). Find out what important keywords for your business are.

Top Basic Nutritional Tips For Soccer Players

Top Basic Nutritional Tips For Soccer Players

Most soccer athletes do not have a clear guide of what to eat to prepare for a soccer match, what to eat after a soccer match and how to maintain a rich high carbohydrate diet. There are nutritional guides that soccer players of all level must and should follow in order to put themselves in a beneficial position before matches.

Simple Nutritional Tips

1. Carbohydrates, Carbohydrates, Carbohydrates!!

I cannot stress this enough. Athlete performance in all sports is dependant on a diet that is rich in carbohydrates. As a soccer player it will improve your running performance and stamina on the field. The more carbohydrates a soccer player eats, the longer a player can perform at a top level.

The recommended time for consuming a large portion of carbohydrates is not the day of a match, but the day before. Most coaches, players and parents go by the old myth to prepare high carbohydrate meals the day of the game.

A balanced diet of 55-65% carbohydrates, 10-12% protein, 25-30% fat and plenty of fluids.

2. Protein Still Matters

After starting with carbohydrates it is only appropriate to mention protein. Protein is very important in your diet as a soccer player, however where you get it from is very important. Must athlete diets recommend protein, but none really go into explanation of where to get your protein.

While there is a lot of protein in ground beef, chicken and pork, the majority of this protein is combined with a large portion of fat. Fat is good but there are some fats that are not recommended.

My recommended fats are: omega fats from fish (salmon), lean ground beef and red meat (after fat removal).

A little protein a day helps to restore new fuel in the muscles fast and allowing you to perform at maximum level when your body needs it on the field.

3. A Lot of Fluids Never Hurts

Most athletes do not like water. It seems like we have it all the time and there is no taste. Unfortunately, we all need to consume a large amount of water. Luckily today there are many flavored drinks to help with the unbearable bland taste of water.

Whichever route you may take it is recommended that you drink fluids in these amounts listed below:

Before the match: 16oz – 20oz water 2 hours prior During the match: 7oz – 10oz of Gatorade or similar every 15-20 minutes After the match: 20oz of water or equivalent for every pound of body mass

These liquid amounts could vary during the weather condition in which you play. During the summer and warm times you will need more water. If you are playing in cold temperatures you should still follow this guideline above Overall, it is very important for soccer athletes to maintain a well-balanced nutritional regime during the season. It has been proven that soccer athletes who follow a guide like this or similar, that you will see great results on the field!

A Guide to choose Keywords and place it on website..

Keyword marketing In the Field of SEO-Search engine optimization choosing keywords is one of the most important tasks. You should choose keyword wisely. Choosing keyword is not a guessing Game but it is an art. Why to choose keywords?

As you probably aware of search engine traffic. Search engine traffic is very very important for success of any website. It is estimated that approximately 65 to 85% of traffic (average) coming from search engine (however is depends on how you promote your website).search engine is only way to create highly targeted traffic. You can improve visitor to sales ratio of your website if you successfully receive traffic from search engine. Or improve your revenue by attracting more visitors.

If you are selling Music CDs online. If your website is on top for key Phrase like “Music CD” on all Major search engines then just think how many people will search for Music CD in a day?? I think lots of. Now. This is the way you are getting visitor searching for Music CDs. However there will be lots of search in a day for term CD like [1] Software CDs [2] E-Book CDs [3] Video CDs [4] Game CDs etc… But traffic coming form these terms is Meaningless for you to create sales. So your page should be relevant only for Key phrases like music CDs, audio CDs etc … so it will be better to choose Keywords related to your business rather than selecting randomly or blindly. I hope you will now able to understand importance of choosing better keywords

How to choose keywords?

There are lots of tools for choosing better Keywords like Nichebot, overture keyword suggestion tool, Wordtracker etc…First decide “what is your target market?” and then use these tools. Example you are selling E-books related to website design. Than you should first research how many people every day search for ‘Web Design E-books” go to Nichebot.com for that and simply search Web Design E-books. Nichebot will provide you count of last 60 days for this Key Phrase. We can see that Count for this key phrase is………..Or Go to Wordtracker.com site and search for this keyword Phrase and you will see related information on specific key phrase and you will be able to get information related to this keyword. Phrase. They will provide you all related keywords

Example: For “Directory submission” you will see following related or nearly related Keywords. (This can also help to receive ONLY targeted traffic…)

Related term-count(average search in two month) Directory submission-3978 Search engine directory submission-679 Search engine submission software directory-266 directory internet submission-163 directory website submission-159 directory engine search submission-133 directory submission services-129

Follow this Url to know more>> http://www.nichebot.com/kd/?term=directory+submission

Please follow one of the following tool for keyword research. [1] wordtracker.com [2] Nichebot.com [3] inventory.overture.com/

Now you have to decide which Keyword is less competitive for your website and you can easily reach on top. Based on that you should place these Keywords on your site..

Where and How to place these Keywords?

You are now familiar with keyword/key phrases. Now Question is ‘where to Put these keywords?” here are some places where you can place these keywords [1] Meta tags [2] Title Tags [3] Through out the Description on the page

Meta tags:-

Meta tags are invisible for Visitor and as you might know search engines like Yahoo, Google, MSN are Not providing weight to them to rank your page. But still you can place your keywords in Meta title, keywords and description section.

Title Tags:-

This is very important place where you should place your keyword for better ranking in search engine. The main Keywords must be here for which you are optimizing your site. Try to include its synonyms Key phrases / keywords also to receive traffic of related keywords. Example you can create your title like this way Buy Music CDs online: The shop for buying audio CDs online You are including your two targeted keywords here.

Description:

After title tags this is also one of the most important section where you can place your keywords. But don’t go over bound .density of keywords/ phrases should be 7-10%. Otherwise search engines will consider it as keyword stuffing and your rank will go down rather than improving

Other places where you can place these keywords:

Images: -

you can choose name of images like music_cds.gif audio_cds.jpg etc rather than 0545.gif and image.jpg! This will improve relevancy of your page for related keyword Name of domain, Sub directory and sub domain:- Before you choose any domain name, directory or sub directory you should consider your keywords/ key phrases and also choose them according to your target market.

Example:

Just look at my site. I selected sub domain for my site like http://directory-submission.inetzeal.com/ and http://link-building.inetzeal.com/ for targeting my keywords. Now see source code of Page http://directory-submission.inetzeal.com/ you will find that to improve relevancy of my page related to keywords I also kept name of my logo like this directory_submission_and_link_building.png .then I placed title like Directory submission service. And placed this keyword phrase in whole description.now my page is relevant for keyword phrase “directory submission”, “directory submission service”. Or ‘web directory submission” etc…

I have chosen every sub domain according to this to improve relevancy for specific keywords I strongly recommend you to choose your sub domain or sub directory wisely. if you are creating just a page then you can select like this …./directory-submission.html because search engines text matching will match this keyword and will rank your site on top with your competitor..

I Strongly recommend you to visit this page to find list of top keyword research tools>> http://www.seo-resources.inetzeal.com/top-free-seo-tools.htm

Getting Deals on Auto Insurance

As insurance costs keep increasing, thrifty auto owners are looking for lower car insurance quotes. There are many different types of discounts available and if you can save a little cash, then why not? Below is a list of general price reductions that may be available to you. Check with your insurance agent to see if you’re entitled.

Personal Auto Insurance Discounts

Person-related discounts are ones that depend on the driver’s own personal situation, status and driving history.

  • Completing A Traffic School Class If by any chance you have received a speeding ticket, you may attend traffic school either online or through a traditional setting to have your ticket expunged from your driving record. Indirectly, this will have an effect of lowering your automobile insurance rates
  • Good Student deductions. Insurers know that students with higher grades have a lower risk of being involved in a car accident. Therefore, they will usually offer discounts on your auto insurance.
  • Professional Credits. Some insurers offer price reductions if they belong to certain organizations or profession, like scientists, medical professionals etc.
  • discounts for seniors. People over 55 can usually receive deductions on their automobile insurance. Sometimes, you may also need to take a defensive driving course to qualify for the rate cut. Visit your local DMV to find out what courses are available.
  • Loyalty Credits. If you’ve been a loyal, solid, long-standing client of your insurance provider, they may reward your patronage with deductions too.
  • Uphold a Good Driving Record. Your unspoiled driving history will also let you get auto insurance deductions. Some insurers offer price reductions for drivers and insurance policy holders who have not been in accidents or have not received any traffic tickets for a certain period of time.
  • Homeowners + car insurance Discounts. Your insurance agent may give you multi-line deductions if you insure your home and other cars with them as well.
  • Car-Related Discounts

Your car is a huge factor in ascertaining how much you’ll be giving for automobile insurance. Depending on the overall safety and other features of your car, you can be eligible for certain car insurance discounts.

    1. Car Air Bags. There are multiple types of airbags: front, rear, side-curtain, etc. The more you’re protected, the cheaper your insurance could be.
    2. Anti-Lock Brakes System (ABS). Some states require that insurers give price reductions to policy owners whose automobiles are equipped with ABS.
    3. Anti-Theft Devices. Installation of anti-theft devices like alarm systems is a move in the right direction. There may be an added bonus if the alarm automatically activates when the car’s engine is turned off.

    eAccelerator for PHP

What is eAccelerator? ———————- eAccelerator is a
free open source PHP accelerator, optimizer, encoder and dynamic
content cache for PHP. It increases performance of PHP scripts
by caching them in compiled state, so that the overhead of
compiling is almost completely eliminated. Also it uses some
optimizations to speed up execution of PHP scripts. eAccelerator
typically reduces server load and increases the speed of your
    PHP code by 1-10 times.

eAccelerator is a fork of TurckMMCache (
    http://sourceforge.net/project/turckmm-cache/ by Dmitry Stogov )

eAccelerator stores compiled PHP scripts in shared memory and
executes code directly from it. It creates locks only for short
time, while searching compiled PHP script in the cache, so one
script can be executed simultaneously by several engines. Files
that can’t fit in shared memory are cached on disk only.

eAccelerator contains a PHP encoder and loader. You can encode
PHP scripts using encoder.php in order to distribute them
without sources. Encoded files can be run on any site which runs
PHP with eAccelerator. The sources of encoded scripts can’t be
restored because they are stored in a compiled form and the
encoded version doesn’t contain the source. Of course, some
internals of the scripts can be restored with different reverse
engineering tools (disassemblers, debuggers, etc), but it is not
    trivial.

eAccelerator is compatible with Zend Optimizer’s loader. Zend
Optimizer must be installed after eAccelerator in php.ini. If
you don’t use scripts encoded with Zend Encoder then we do not
recommend you install Zend Optimizer with eAccelerator.

eAccelerator does not work in CGI mode.

    chmod 0777 /home/eaccelerator

    httpd restart

    or

    service httpd restart

    ===================== =====================

    Configuration Options ———————

eaccelerator.shm_size The amount of shared memory (in megabytes)
that eAccelerator will use. “0″ means OS default. Default value
    is “0″.

eaccelerator.cache_dir The directory that is used for disk
cache. eAccelerator stores precompiled code, session data,
content and user entries here. The same data can be stored in
shared memory also (for more quick access). Default value is
    “/tmp/eaccelerator”.

eaccelerator.enable Enables or disables eAccelerator. Should be
“1″ for enabling or “0″ for disabling. Default value is “1″.

eaccelerator.optimizer Enables or disables internal peephole
optimizer which may speed up code execution. Should be “1″ for
enabling or “0″ for disabling. Default value is “1″.

eaccelerator.debug Enables or disables debug logging. Should be
“1″ for enabling or “0″ for disabling. Default value is “0″.

eaccelerator.check_mtime Enables or disables PHP file
modification checking . Should be “1″ for enabling or “0″ for
disabling. You should set it to “1″ if you want to recompile PHP
files after modification. Default value is “1″.

eaccelerator.filter Determine which PHP files must be cached.
You may specify the number of patterns (for example “*.php
*.phtml”) which specifies to cache or not to cache. If pattern
starts with the character “!”, it means to ignore files which
are matched by the following pattern. Default value is “” that
means all PHP scripts will be cached.

eaccelerator.shm_max Disables putting large values into shared
memory by ” eaccelerator_put() ” function. It indicates the
largest allowed size in bytes (10240, 10K, 1M). The “0″ disables
the limit. Default value is “0″.

eaccelerator.shm_ttl When eaccelerator fails to get shared
memory for new script it removes all scripts which were not
accessed at last “shm_ttl” seconds from shared memory. Default
value is “0″ that means – don’t remove any files from shared
    memory.

eaccelerator.shm_prune_period When eaccelerator fails to get
shared memory for new script it tryes to remove old script if
the previous try was made more then “shm_prune_period” seconds
ago. Default value is “0″ that means – don’t try to remove any
    files from shared memory.

eaccelerator.shm_only Enables or disables caching of compiled
scripts on disk. It has no effect on session data and content
caching. Default value is “0″ that means – use disk and shared
    memory for caching.

eaccelerator.compress Enables or disables cached content
compression. Default value is “1″ that means enable compression.

eaccelerator.compress_level Compression level used for content
caching. Default value is “9″ which is the maximum value

    eaccelerator.keys eaccelerator.sessions eaccelerator.content
Determine where keys, session data and content will be cached.
The possible values are: “shm_and_disk” – cache data in shared
memory and on disk (default value) “shm” – cache data in shared
memory or on disk if shared memory is full or data size greater
then “eaccelerator.shm_max” “shm_only” – cache data in shared
memory “disk_only” – cache data on disk “none” – don’t cache data

    eAccelerator API —————-

    eaccelerator_put($key, $value, $ttl=0) puts the $value into
    shard memory for $ttl seconds.

eaccelerator_get($key) returns the value from shared memory
which was stored by eaccelerator_put() or null if it is not
    exists or was expired.

eaccelerator_rm($key) removres the $key from shared memory

eaccelerator_gc() removes all expired keys from shared memory

eaccelerator_lock($lock) creates a lock with specified name. The
lock can be released by function eaccelerator_unlock() or
automatic on the end of request. For Example:

eaccelerator_cache_page($key, $ttl=0) caches the full page for
    $ttl seconds.

    Motivate Me?

Motivation is something athletes are always seeking, but can be elusive to obtain. Motivation can put a lesser skilled athlete on the podium standing over his more gifted and talented peers. It is the life blood of training. Simply put motivation is how much an individual wants to achieve a goal, but sources of motivation can be as varied as athletes.

It is important to ask yourself why you are training. Is it to get physically fit, for fun, a challenge, social interaction, build confidence, to learn a skill, or to compete and win? You may train for a combination of these reasons or for a completely different reason. What you do not want is to find yourself wondering why you are working toward a goal. Remind yourself why you train and visualize the outcome and rewards you will receive.

I often hear “I am waiting to get motivated.” This implies that motivation will somehow come to a person like a divine wind. True motivation must come from within you. This is one of the reasons children who are pushed too hard by the imposed ambitions of overzealous parents often lose interest in a sport. The child has lost the internal motivation to participate (fun) and generally does not stay involved long term. People are motivated by accomplishment and the attainment of goals. Think of how motivated you are after you complete a race you have been training for. Motivation becomes hardest the furthest from your goal. This is when you have to really keep your long-term focus and regularly remind yourself of the end reward.

One external motivating influence, however, is inspiration. We have all been inspired by someone in our lives. Lance Armstrong has inspired many to take up the sport of cycling. You may have participated in an MS 150 event because of a friend’s battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Inspiration is an emotion that can cause us to aspire to greater levels of motivation. It reinforces our own personal reasons to work toward our goals.

Motivation can be fleeting. You may find the goal you are working toward is no longer conducive to reasons you train. This is why it is important to set reasonable and attainable goals that match our individual purpose to train and compete. Fatigue, stress, emotional issues, overtraining, time constraints, and injuries can all reduce our motivational levels. Often taking a day or two off to rest and refocus will help restore your training ambition. Training should add to the quality of your life, not hinder it. It is important to balance all aspects of your lifestyle and adjust your training level accordingly.

A positive mental outlook supports and enhances motivation. Avoid negative self talk; “I will never be a climber”, and focus on the positive; “I am becoming a more powerful cyclist each month.” Surround yourself and train with positive-minded people who encourage and support you. Accept responsibility for, and learn from your failures as well as your successes. Blaming others will get you no where.

Motivation can be complex, but if you remember why you train, look for your sources of inspiration, and keep a positive mental outlook the rest should fall into line. Realize that motivation comes from within, and from accomplishment. It is also a building process. Each goal you attain builds self esteem and confidence, giving you more motivation to accomplish your next goal.

Cricket Tips: Visualisation: The Key To Cricket Success?

An excellent cricket tip I picked up is the power of visualisation. It is a skill which is often neglected by cricketers. For batsmen, bowlers and fielders at any level of the game it is an important skill that should be mastered.

Visualisation or guided imagery is a very powerful technique that can help increase both your efficiency and effectiveness in achieving your cricket goals, whether it would be scoring one hundred runs, playing a perfect cover drive or taking that vital wicket or catch.

“You must see your goals clearly and specifically before you can set out for them. Hold them in your mind until they become second nature.” –Les Brown–

All top class athletes utilise visualisation to mentally rehearse what they have to do and how they are going to achieve it. By doing this they train their minds and bodies to actually perform the skill as effectively and efficiently as possible.

For example, before batting Ricky Ponting will have visualised every stroke and shot in his many inning’s this season which have netted him an average of over one hundred so far this season.

When you begin to use visualisation techniques, you want to mentally create a vivid scene in you mind of your wanted outcome. You want this scene to be as detailed and clear as possible, you need to be able to see, feel and smell your success.

Actually visualise your success, picture yourself taking that critical wicket or scoring that winning run. Visualise whatever you want your desired situation to be, how it feels, what your emotions are, imagine being in the situation and succeeding.

Make visualisation a daily activity, to go alongside your other cricket training. By succeeding in your mind you will become more passionate about your cricket and you will work harder, pushing yourself to do whatever is necessary to achieve success.

When using visualisation never ever consider failure or giving up as this will likely be the eventual outcome. Always have a positive mental attitude and draw on your success as inspiration however small they may be.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. — Aristotle -

Dream big and aspire to succeed at the highest levels, be patient, work hard and persevere there is nothing except yourself stopping you from achieving your goals in cricket.
