How to Tell if You Require a Body Detox
You may be surprised to hear that a monumental range of health problems are correlated to the internal cleanliness. Toxins from food, air, water and the environment (known as exotoxins) can do harm to just about every body system. The food we eat, the air we breathe, the personal care products we use and the cleaning products in our homes are usually the main source of the toxic waste that cumulate thoroughout our tissues, cells and organ systems. Incredulously, there are tens of thousands of toxic substances used in our food today. In addition, there are many hundreds thousands of chemical substances used by commercial farmers that coat our produce with dangerous residue. Insecticides, herbicides and pesticides has been discovered in as much as 90% of the non-organic fruits and vegetables Americans eat on a day-to-day basis.
In addition to these exotoxins, our bodies must also wrestle with internally produced toxins, called endotoxins. These toxins are the innate side products of our digestive process, food allergies, immune system function, hormone production, parasites, candida, bacterial contagions, impacted colon.
Doing a regular cleanse will stimulate your body’s natural ability to take out accumulated toxins stored in the body. Body cleansing is a natural process that happens systematically in your body. For the average person who lived a hundred years ago or more, doing a body detox may have been unthinkable. This person’s body purified itself fully, perpetually able to keep up with its toxins. Now, however, our systems can’t maintain pace. Our exposure to an increasing number of environmental toxins blended with a diet that is less and less natural and clean overtax and cut off the body’s natural cleaning procedure.
Virtually every adult would do well from a body detox program. Ideally, this should be attempted with the supervision of a health care practitioner, but that is not necessary if you study up on detox methods.
