Halloween Party Food
Prepare to serve at least one signature Halloween beverage. Here is a tasty one. One of the simplest spirits’ to serve is Ghoul-Aid (don’t forget a label!) which is just made with: A punch bowl, Kool Aid Packets in orange or purple or green, sugar, water, and (of course) vodka. For a frightful effect, float a hand’ made from filling and freezing a latex glove (remove the glove when the hand’ is frozen). You can also float gummy worms for an extra creepy treat for guests!
Purchase ‘creepy cloth’ in black and gray and use it to drape over furniture, pictures, mantels, chandeliers, etc. to create a feeling of a haunted house! It’s only cheesecloth specially colored and shredded, and you could likely create it yourself if you have the time and energy! Visit a Halloween store or online retailer to buy some effects like body parts, creatures, “Goretraits” (pictures that move when you walk past) and other fun Halloween items. Remove regular knick-knacks and replace with ghastlier decor, like a huge rubber rat peeking out from a pile of books, or a jar filled with eyeballs and green goo.
